Meet Your Pain Detective
I’m Andrew, your Vernon physiotherapist who helps people get unstuck from pain.

Stop chasing symptoms.
Start solving the mystery.
If that’s how you feel, then welcome. I approach your pain like a detective approaches a case – with careful investigation and a determination to find the real culprit.

I know what it feels like to be stuck…
I injured my back as a teenager and spent years bouncing between treatments that provided temporary relief but never lasted. Flare-up after flare-up, I felt trapped in a cycle with no clear way forward.
I realized something important over 15 years of practice: most people who feel stuck with their pain aren’t getting stuck because the problem is unsolvable—they’re stuck because no one has looked at it the right way.
My unconventional background—business, classical piano, three languages, and living through my own back injury—taught me to see patterns others miss and approach complex problems from multiple angles.
I developed the Movement Matrix Method to do exactly that: take overwhelming, confusing pain problems and make them simple and solvable.
My approach: investigate systematically, think laterally, and create elegant solutions that make getting better feel straightforward instead of overwhelming.
How I help people get unstuck
When you’ve tried multiple treatments without lasting results, you need someone who approaches the problem differently.
I don’t guess. I investigate your situation systematically using the Movement Matrix Method I have developed over the course of my clinical career. I look at your entire movement system—not just where it hurts—to find the patterns and connections others have missed.
Just like a detective follows clues to solve a case, I follow the evidence your body provides until we find what’s really driving your pain. Sometimes the answer is in an unexpected place—like discovering that poor sleep is perpetuating your back pain, or that an old ankle injury is causing your hip issues.
Then I create a clear, simple plan that makes solving your problem feel manageable instead of overwhelming.
The result? You finally get unstuck and start moving toward the life you want—pain-free and confident in your body.
